The installation was very clean and professional, with the wiring tucked away perfectly so you don’t see a bunch of loose cables. I also had Kevin help me with wiring on my Freightliner truck, and he was just as knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and explained what he was doing along the way. Kevin is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Before I bought my 2025 Tucson, I knew ahead of time that I'd want a dash cam. I researched what camera I wanted (Viofo A229 Plus) but couldn't find anybody around SCV that seemed like they installed dash cams, or at least well. Finding LA Dash Cams was reassuring. The install took approximately an hour, keeping in mind that my setup contained a front and rear cam. I also bought a hardwire cable setup from LADC so that it's enabled for parking mode. Great decision! After the install, Kevin sat with me and helped me run through the app and a basic 101 of the physical camera itself. Super simple and easy process overall, and worth the cost to have somebody knowledgeable install them rather than having a go myself. The availability via phone or text has been great too when I later had the headache of AutoNation Hyundai Valencia blaming the cameras for my dash woes (long story short: it wasn't, Hyundai just didn't want to act on a dash/HUD recall which they ultimately and finally did, a year after that issue started). That kinda customer service and going above and beyond has guaranteed my future business!

 Verified Great experience with LA Dash Cams and Kevin! I originally went to him to have a dash cam installed in my wife's car, and I was really impressed with how clean the installation came out. You can barely tell there are any wires there, which is exactly what I wanted After seeing his work, I also had him help me with some wiring on my Freightliner truck. Kevin was very patient, knew exactly what he was doing, and made sure everything was properly connected and organized It's hard to find someone who actually takes their time and cares about doing the job right. Kevin definitely does. Very professional, fair, and easy to work with. We had done quite a bit of research ourselves, but Kevin helped us choose a less expensive camera that actually met our needs, saving us several hundred dollars. Kevin clearly knows his stuff and was straightforward, honest, and easy to work with. He came to us, hid every cable, set up our phones, and made sure we knew how to use it.  Verified Everything held in my previous review holds true, however I wanted to add a honorary 6th star after Kevin helped me out in a very frustrating situation with my Hyundai Tucson. The short version is the 2025 Tucson has a known issue that has plagued over 100k recalled vehicles where the digital dash and HUD flicker and/or go out completely. Hyundai wanted to blame the dash cam, which is ridiculous for so many reasons. LA Dash Cams use an unoccupied fuse slot (blank) and in my case, also an unused USB power fuse slot. I was able to call and text with immediate responses, sending photos back and forth so that I could be walked through the correct fuse removal process. Sure enough, Hyundai finally listened once I had physically removed the camera unit from my car...which never was necessary to begin with if they used common sense, but dealerships never want to take responsibility. I'm fortunate that LA Dash Cams was willing to go above and beyond, nearly a year after my install. That kind of customer service guarantees that I'll return for any future business. Thank you!

I chose the fitcamx because of it's OEM styling and I wanted it hard wired to work in parking mode, so I chose to have it professionally done.
