It will depend on your needs and your budget. We have affordable cameras, all the way to the highest end brands. For daily driving, a dual-channel camera (front & rear) is recommended. For rideshare or commercial use, a 3-channel camera with interior recording is highly recommended.

Most LA DASH CAMS include a 32GB–64GB SD card. Some models support up to 256GB or SSDs for extended recording.

Yes, most of our cameras are WiFi-enabled which allows you to transfer videos at a much higher rate of speed (versus Bluetooth) to your smartphone. You can also make on-the-fly changes to any settings in the app.
On average, most cars/trucks/SUV's take about 2 hours depending on the camera type and vehicle model (luxury vehicles and large SUV's/Motorhomes can take up to 3 hours). We have a waiting room with a Roku TV, snacks and a fully stocked refrigerator for you to wait while your vehicle is being worked on.

Absolutely not! Most vehicles take an average of 2 hours. We have a comfortable waiting room with Roku TV, a fully stock refrigerator, and a snack bar while you wait for your vehicle to be finished. Free WiFi is also available to you.
You're probably thinking of your factory backup camera which is only designed for assistance in backing up. It does NOT record and unfortunately we cannot tap into it for signal. If you have an older vehicle with no factory backup camera, we recommend our mirror replacement camera which doubles as a backup camera + dash cam.
Each manufacturer carries their own warranty period and we recommend you register your camera once it is installed. Our LA Dash Cams branded camera and hardwire kit comes with an 18-month warranty (1 year on memory card) and a 3 month labor guarantee. If the camera ever falls off or needs reattachment (added/removal of tint or windshield replacement), we will reattach it for free! Just schedule an appointment for a camera reattachment.
