TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of ladashcams.com (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by LA Dash Cams. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to LA Dash Cams. By using this Site and/or purchasing dash camera installation services from LA Dash Cams, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms and Conditions.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of LA Dash Cams. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Scope of Work
We will install the dash camera(s) purchased by you or provided by us into your vehicle. Installation includes routing power cables safely and securely, connecting the device to a suitable power source, and testing the unit for basic functionality. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods and services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods and services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods and services we provide. You agree to purchase goods and services from our Site at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
Customer Responsibilities
- Vehicle Access:You agree to provide access to the vehicle and ensure it is clean and accessible.
- Device Provision:If you provide their own dash camera, it must be in working condition. We are not responsible for defects and/or testing of third-party devices, new or used.
- Battery & Electrical Condition: It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle’s battery and electrical system are in good condition prior to installation. We are not responsible for any battery defects and/or deficiencies.
Warranty and Liability
- Installation Warranty:We offer a three (3) month limited warranty on labor. If issues arise due to our workmanship, we will fix them at no charge.
- Equipment Warranty:Warranty coverage on dash cameras varies by manufacturer. We do not offer warranty for customer-provided devices.
- Vehicle Damage:We are not responsible for damage to aftermarket equipment or previously modified wiring systems.
- Interior Damage Disclaimer:While we take every precaution to protect your vehicle’s interior, you acknowledge that some trim or interior pieces may be brittle, fragile, or previously worn. In the rare event of accidental damage to any automotive interior pieces during installation, repair or replacement will be at the sole discretion of LA Dash Cams.
Recording Laws
It is your responsibility to understand and comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding the use of dash cameras and video/audio recording. We are not liable for misuse or unlawful operation of the dash camera.
Photos and Media Consent
From time to time, we may take photos or videos of the dash camera installation process or finished results for use on social media or marketing platforms. By agreeing to these terms:
- You grant permission for your vehicle to appear in such media content.
- All license plates and identifying details will be blurred or removed to ensure your privacy.
- No names, faces, or confidential customer information will be shared without explicit additional consent.
Payments
When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Refunds and Cancellations
- Installation service fees are non-refundable once work begins.
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or No-Shows will incur a $50 cancellation fee, which must be paid prior to rebooking any future service.
- No Chargebacks. You will not, under any circumstances, issue or threaten to issue any chargebacks. In the event of a chargeback, the LA Dash Cams reserves its right to report it to the credit bureaus as a delinquent account.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LA Dash Cams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the installation or use of the dash camera system.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless LA Dash Cams and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way LA Dash Cams and/or the Site operate.
Entire agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LA Dash Cams with respect to our Service. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications (whether electronic, oral, or written) between you and LA Dash Cams about our Service.
Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with the purchase/installation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
